By creating an account or using Umano AI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Umano AI is a business management platform that provides tools for invoicing, job scheduling, customer management, payment tracking, and related business operations. The Service is intended for use by business owners and their authorized employees.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of yourself or your business.

You retain full ownership of the data you enter into the Service, including customer information, invoice records, and business data. We do not sell your data to third parties. Your data is stored securely using Firebase / Google Cloud infrastructure and is accessible only to you.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of customer data complies with applicable privacy laws, including obtaining any necessary consents from your customers.
If you connect a Gmail account through the Email Service feature, you authorize the Service to send emails on your behalf using the Gmail API. You are solely responsible for the content of emails sent through the Service and for compliance with applicable laws (including CAN-SPAM and GDPR where applicable).
Any subscription fees for the Service are billed as described on the pricing page. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.
The Service, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by Umano AI and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of any part of the Service.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Umano AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. You may request a copy of your data within 30 days of termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice in the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
